October 2017 Thank You!

Dear Foothills Family,

There are so many things I wish I could tell you about the great work God is doing at the Center. His good and faithful ways are on display each and everyday as our staff and volunteers work to bring the hope of Jesus to those who are far from Him.

During the month of September, we had one of our two volunteer training events. These are designed to keep our volunteers up to date on changes at the Center and to provide refreshers in client care techniques. I love being with our volunteers and seeing their willingness to serve additional hours for training.

In addition to sharing the training updates, I have the opportunity to share my heart for the truth found in God’s word. To be honest, I live to see the transformation it brings to the lives of our clients. From those who are incarcerated at the Oconee County Detention Center to the ones that are prisoners of their own destructive thoughts… God is able! He is able to set the captives free and to make the blind see. What a mighty, majestic Savior we serve.

“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” Heb 4:12 ESV

Serving a God who is living and active gives me great hope, not just for our clients but for myself as well. His active word never fails to carve out the dead parts of our hearts, in fact, that’s what He does best. He takes dead things and gives them life.

Your gift to the Care Center is used to help bring new life to dead things. It makes strong the weak and gives encouragement to the downtrodden. Your gift provides hope and inspires change in the lives of young men and women. Most importantly, your gift allows the unborn to speak through the science of an ultrasound.

Words cannot express the deep thankfulness we feel toward you and your willingness to support the Center.

Kelly Ross, CEO
